About the role
Accountant, Platforms and Ecosystems Controllership
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and accountability for accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness, and efficiency of APAC regional financial reporting and processes
- Participate in cross-finance readiness for product initiatives, working through tax, legal, treasury, accounting, and operational implications
- Partner with key stakeholders to enable successful launch operationalization/implementation
- Collaborate with global and regional cross-functional teams to lead execution of global business programs with an APAC focus
- Act as the first point of contact and provide advisory support to the business on commercial agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a related function with business partnership in a public accounting or large multinational company setting
- Experience with accounting principles, including US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or other professional accounting accreditation
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Exceptional analytical skills and adept at data queries (i.e. SQL), reporting, presentation and visualisation
